Introducing the Next-Generation “The Hawk” Handlebar
This handlebar is a upgrade relative to The Hawk 'Cockpit' used by World Champion Yoeri Havik and to win in the Paris olympics—our Hawk handlebar now features carbon fiber construction in place of the previous 3D-printed aluminum design. It also incorporates an upgraded hook/beak.
Uncompromising Technology for Elite Track Cyclists
Developed in collaboration with top riders, the Hawk handlebar brings together advanced materials and rigorous engineering to optimize strength, stiffness, and aerodynamics—all while preserving top-tier ergonomics. This results in a noticeable performance edge during intense track competition.
Proprietary RTM-Derived Production
Not only is the Hawk handlebar designed in-house, but it’s also manufactured entirely in our facility using a proprietary RTM (Resin Transfer Molding)–derived process. Moving away from conventional pre-preg methods allows us to achieve a significantly higher fiber volume fraction and greater material purity, translating into a robust yet lightweight structure that stands up to the toughest demands of track racing.
Digitally Controlled Tooling & Data Logging
Quality and consistency are at the heart of our process. Every handlebar is molded using custom tooling that is fully digitized to monitor and record critical parameters—like temperature and pressure—throughout each production run. By logging and reviewing this data, we ensure each handlebar meets strict performance and safety standards, guaranteeing consistent results across every unit.
Innovative Internal Structures
To preserve the handlebar’s aerodynamic profile without compromising rigidity, we developed new techniques for integrating internal carbon reinforcements. These structures help prevent flexing and buckling under high loads—common pitfalls of many conventional composite manufacturing processes.
